We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Friends of the Webb Shadle Public Library for their generous donation of an automated external defibrillator (AED) to our library. We also want to express our gratitude to everyone at the Iowa Heart Foundation for their contribution of an AED cabinet.
An AED is a portable electronic device that delivers an electric shock to the heart, helping to restore a normal rhythm in individuals experiencing sudden cardiac arrest.
