Welcome to Webb Shadle Public Library Wish List, supported by the Friends of Webb Shadle Public Library. Over the past few years we have been working very hard to make improvements to our community library. Every now and then, we come across items that we think the community might be able to help us with.
We developed this portion of the site so anyone interested in helping can come here and quickly view the needs of our library, and see if there is anything they may be able to help us obtain. Maybe you would like to purchase something as a memorial for a loved one (a plaque can be added, ask for details), maybe you need a tax write off, or maybe you just want to help and are in a position to do so.

We are seeking a full size, energy efficient refrigerator in new or near new condition to better accommodate patrons utilizing the library’s East Room for events involving food/meals.

We would like to provide library patrons this seating option in front of our building.

Brown Leather Loveseat
The frequently visited loveseat in our coffee bar/reading nook area is showing much wear and tear. We are looking for a new or nearly new leather loveseat from a pet/smoke-free environment similar to the one pictured.

Roof Replacement
The library's roof is in poor condition resulting in many leaks. We have been advised to replace it. We're looking for removal of the existing roof and installation of shingles that we would supply. The flat portion of the roof over the East Room also needs resealed.
