The Madison County Chamber of Commerce has been busy preparing for the Madison County Covered Bridge Festival, which will take place on:
**Saturday, October 11, from 9 AM to 7 PM**
**Sunday, October 12, from 9 AM to 3 PM**
The Winterset Courthouse Square will be filled with over 150 food and arts and crafts vendors, old-time demonstrations, live music, children’s activities, and much more.
This year’s festival celebrates the 30th anniversary of the movie *The Bridges of Madison County*, as well as the novel and musical of the same name. To mark this special occasion, the Webb Shadle Public Library will showcase a collection of covered bridge memorabilia, courtesy of the Madison County Chamber and Welcome Center.
