Iowa author Michelle Sprout Murray, along with her husband Marc, visited our library on Thursday, September 4, to present her book Amazing Iowa. The event lived up to its name and was truly memorable.
Michelle brought Iowa’s legends to life, sharing captivating tales of the Cherry Sisters, the Ringling Brothers, Neta Snook Souther, Meredith Wilson, Simon Estes, and a host of other remarkable figures from our state’s past.
