August flew right by! The Iowa State Fair has wrapped up, the Knoxville Races are nearing the end of their season, and our special curio cabinet display has now been taken down.
If you didn’t get a chance to stop in and see the wonderful items loaned to us by the Iowa State Fair and Knoxville Raceway, here’s a sweet snapshot of Janet Wallace and her grandson Guthrie enjoying the display while it was still up. Not pictured is Susan Phillips, whose help was just as appreciated.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped bring this lovely display to life. It was such a fun way to celebrate Iowa traditions right here at the library.
