The Civilian Conservation Corps was a federal program to assist young men in supporting their families during the Depression years. Most Iowans know about the state park work done by the CCCs. But, over 75% of the work done in Iowa was involved in soil erosion, drought and flood prevention and planting trees. Linda has spoke with 21 men who were in the CCC, and will share their memories.
