We are pretty excited that Author/Speaker Linda McCann is again making rounds in our part of the State. Her program this time will be Beginning Genealogy. Linda began doing genealogy over 40 years ago. While researching her family, she discovered she was descended from the founder of the community where they lived, and her mother and grandmother did not know this. This led Linda into helping start a Historical Society and Museum, which led to the writing she now does. Linda will have handouts she uses and internet web sites to use and ones to avoid. Everyone is welcome and there is, of course, no admission charge.
Even if you aren’t interested in doing your own research, Linda presents a lively and fun program!
