Prairie Meadows recently awarded the Friends of the Webb Shadle Public Library a Community Betterment Grant totaling $28,500. The grant will help fund the Pleasantville library heating and cooling equipment replacement project.
The money received from this grant will allow the Friends of the Webb Shadle Public Library to replace the close to 50-year-old heating and cooling system with a more reliable, cost-effective energy efficient unit. The Friends group hopes to get this project completed before winter weather sets in.
